THIS MUST BE THE PLACE. I'm Aisling Horrigan, a junior designer. I love for all things advertising, graphic design and art, with a Bachelors in Advertising and a Masters in Visual Communication.
PHOTO MONTAGES A Brief received during my masters, originally formed on the concept of triangles, which led to the history of feminism and the Dada art movement; leading me to create three photo montages.
NAKED VAGABOND WINE Packaging design and logo for a new brand of wine, identifying itself as ‘a hipster, fashionable wine for every occasion.’
PETA PRINT ADVERTISEMENTS A campaign to encourage parents and families to consider a vegan lifestyle. Created for PETA, an animal rights based charity.

POT NOODLE The brief: Make Pot Noodle a badge of honour in a generally unhealthy and debauched lifestyle.

BEAVERBROOKS
ROUGH TRADE Establish Rough Trade as an alternative to downloading music online and make it a household name for the alternative music scene again.
SNACK-ATTACK The brief was to create a print campaign for Snack Attack, a personalised sandwich deli, where customers can create the sandwiches with their own hands.
BARMY FLAGS
INDEPENDENT LIVING An advertising campaign a creative partner and I produced. The brief was to create a piece of wearable technology to make living with dementia easier; this is the campaign we created for it.

One of my biggest interests is music, with my BA final major project being a campaign for Rough Trade Records.

 

Another interest of mine is animal rights, with my final Masters project campaigning for the rights and equality for animals.

 

WHO AM I?

I'm a BA Advertising and MA Visual Communication graduate from Southampton Solent, currently living in Southampton.

 

I am hugely passionate about advertising and would love to work within a design-based agency.

 

I am able to use all Adobe software; I have experience in User Interface and HTML. I also have experience working on the art direction and copy-writing side of campaigns.

I am passionate about photography and therefore can work a camera and edit videos using Adobe After effects and Audition.

 

Whilst studying a Bachelors in Advertising I entered several competitions including YCN, Roses, D&AD, The Pipe and the Europass viral video competition. I was fortunate enough to have my work exhibited at D&AD and my creative team and me came 6th in Britain for the Europass viral video competition. During this time I also worked with Barmy flags on a print and social media campaign. When studying a Masters in Visual Communication I helped create an exhibition of work with other pupils on the course, I also created posters for the event. Currently I work on the social media and competitions for Cineworld Southampton. I have also created posters and leaflets for Oxfam Music and posters for local music events.

Appeal to 18-30 year old males and receive 5000 new likes on the Facebook page. Achieved through a campaign for two competitions - to like and share their page or post your own football collection to win free, personalised flags.
